"Thank you very much to you and your band for making my birthday party into a fantastic memory!  I will certainly always remember my 50th. 

The music was really great (with the exception of my ‘singing’ interlude!) and so many people have contacted me to say how good you were.  And all of you were so friendly and nice, as well as being great musicians. 

Once again, thank you very much and please pass on my thanks to your band colleagues. 

I look forward to seeing/hearing you again very soon!
